Best Leggings for Tall Moms (2026 Guide)

There are so many choices out there when it comes to workout leggings, how can you know which ones will work for you without purchasing and returning them over and over again. Most people also don’t have the luxury of buying ten pair at once to try them all out.  And, if you are new to working out, returning after an injury, or postpartum, it can be hard to even know what size to buy. Not to mention, being tall adds a whole other layer to the challenges.

I spent several months trying leggings to find just the right ones that didn’t show underwear lines too badly, were buttery soft, and had a high enough waist band to not show my midsection when I raised my arms. Yes, I could have just bought long shirts, but I really love the crop top look (Find my picks for Best workout tops Here) and it’s flattering on my longer torso. So, here’s a list of a few of my favorite leggings that I found in my search.

These definitely offer specific sizing more than any other that I was able to find. They are high waisted, but not quite as high as I prefer. But they do offer a 25”, 28” and even 31” leg length making these a great option for anyone with extra long legs. They also offer beautiful color options and even some prints. These are well known for their superior quality fabric that can last years with a price tag that matches. Even though they are among the most expensive leggings, they may be worth it for some people to have specific sizing, thick quality material and trending color option.

These are my go-to running leggings. The moisture wicking material is perfect for running, especially in hot humid areas. Also the deep side pocket keeps my phone secure without it bouncing around and bothering me on runs. These also hold up really well, some of mine have even lasted through years of running long distances. They are middle of the road as far as price is concerned, so these are a great choice for anyone who wants something that will last without a huge price tag. The waist band also sits about midway up on me, hitting right at the navel. The leg length is great as well coming all the way to my ankle. If you do any sort of warm weather running or walking, these are a great option.
